All I know is that I long to live in a place where I feel connected to other people. A place where i don't have to wonder if I am being lied to, backstabbed or run out of my job because I am different in some way.
I understand that Northwesterners have their own ways. And maybe it is not fair to expect them to be the way I would like them to be, but I think as people they suck. I am no longer angry or bitter about how I have treated during my time here, but I am not going to give these people more credit than they deserve. It's one thing to be quiet, private or reserved and another to be so selfish and cold to fellow human beings.
