Re: What I really love about Seattle!!!

You must be in New York. Not known for Mexican food, but who really cares when you have the best of everything else in the world. (again my opinion)You must miss the mountains and vistas. I understand that. I have come to love the west for that and other things as well . But I feel that unless someone said something outright mean to you, they were being brutally honest and not rude. When you think about it rudeness is a relative thing. I admit the bluntness can be sharp, but if you grew up in it you would know the intent. I often feel people here are very 2 faced because they avoid confrontation at all costs. They backstab more as a result and I find that to be ruder than anything. Being indirect can be mis leading and dishonest. It can take a while to get to the point and the truth. I think that's why people back east are so real. We stab you in the front not the back! You sound like a very nice person, and I do not want to argue at all. Thank you for this conversation and sharing your views.
