Re: What I really love about Seattle!!!

I appreciate what you are saying about spacial comfort. I've had more than 20 years living experience on the west coast so I am more used to having and giving more " space" to others. However I find the emotional space and distance is always foreign to me. The unfriendliness and passive aggressiveness is downright strange. So people don't call back right away to give others their privacy? Interesting. That really makes no sense to me. I guess different regions have different cultures. Some people are more private while others are more gregarious. You may always feel claustrophobic on the east coast, but I hope you will enjoy your stay. People there tend to be very genuine and direct. There is more history in the east, different trees and better food (in my opinion). Vive La Difference!
